Hmm... decisions, decisions. I now have the capacity to reinvent this thing, as I have the mythical creature named 'time'. And so I face the inevitable question: Can I be bothered?
Consider this an official RFC, if anyone ever reads this (currently rather pointless) thing any more.
I'm finally home! *jumps excitedly on the chair* And I have to say this:
I fucking LOVE summer.
xD
Don't get me wrong, the holiday was great and I enjoyed myself a lot. It's only the weather I'm complaining about. In Poland I'm almost constantly sick with a cold. And I've always disliked that cold climate. It might seem attractive to people who live in Australia and suffer from the heat, but I, after 13 years of cold winters and mild summers, really have had enough. Next time I'm visiting family in summer only.
Enough of my complaining. It's great to be home! I've really missed it. I've missed my family, friends and Australia in general. There's really been a change in the way I see this country. I'm at home here and feel almost patriotic towards it. I'm very excited at the prospect of becoming a citizen on the 26th (Australia Day!!).
Anyway. I should be going as there's mess everywhere and a half - unpacked suitcase waiting for me.
Just remembered. Tomorrow I'll be 18! Damn, this time flies.
(imported directly from my pretty little blue notebook)
I WILL
1. Put myself in shape physically through the following means:
- regular fencing training sessions (prob. once a week)
- jogging every day (mornings)
- eating more fruit & veg (5 + 2 or something..)
- cutting back on choc & lollies - only allowed on weekends
IT'S THE TEEE YEAR FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!
3. Read (at least attempt) simple books in Italian to expand my vocab.
4. Take good care of my face ie. moisturise regularly, use the thingie from Dr. Polczynski, ALWAYS remove make-up before going to bed
5. Be patient, understanding and generally nice towards people (including parents and sister!)
6. Go to sleep early (between 10 and 11) during the week
7. NOT go over my Cap (mobile)
8. Try to expand my English vocabulary by finding new words and forming sentences with them (maybe post them on VOX?) + IMPROVE PRONOUNCIATION
9. Reduce the amount of time spent using the computer - esp. internet
10. Get 97.00 TER or above (to gain admittance at UWA for Law)
It will be interesting to take this list in a year's time and see how I went with my resolutions x) Wish me luck.

Happy time. I'm spending it with family in Malbork. Going back to Elbląg tomorrow though because I'm going to a rock concert in a couple of days with my friend. Should be good fun. Mmm. I feel so lazy and full of "pierogi", cakes, different kinds of fish and other delicious things reserved especially for Christmas time. Don't feel much like writing so I'll just say Wesołych Świąt (Merry Christmas) to anyone who happens to be reading this, and go back to sitting around, drinking coffee with relatives and doing practically nothing at all.
..but I won't tell you where!
xD
It's beautiful. Really. Even without snow. I had a chance to appreciate the beauty of the landscape today when I went outside the city to a country area where my family friends are building a pretty wooden house. With a fireplace inside and a fruit garden at the front. I wish I could be stuffed to show you some pictures of it after transferring them from the camera onto the hard drive of this computer. But I'm too lazy. Bad luck.
I also went to an ice rink today. Nothing special, really. But still fun. And I bought a few great old Polish comedies as well as a collection of an old tv series about a soviet spy infiltrating the nazis, all of course in Polish. Tomorrow I'll probably go to see the Old Town which is very beautiful, especially after being re-built and improved over the past few years. This might also be a good chance to go looking for old communist items and Polish slogan tees (to serve as presents for a few of my friends back in Australia). I'm only worried about money..
Overall, I must say I'm enjoying myself lately. Though I do wish it wasn't quite so cold. I'm sick of bloody stockings.
...is the name of my hometown. And the place where I'm staying atm. I have a bit of a cold so I don't feel much like writing. Maybe just a couple of things. I'm out of money! Those hard-earned dollars of mine disappeared much too quickly for my liking. Thankfully I've got some extra funds coming in so I should be ok for the next few weeks. Hmm. I've been visiting some old mates the last couple of days. Only 3 girls are left from my old class at the music school I went to before I left Poland. The rest is scattered around the city in a few different schools. I'm planning to find them all (or at least most of them) and have a little reunion. The initial date it's planned for is next Friday. I hope I'll be feeling a bit better by then..
Damn. I hate getting sick. x(
London - day 2.
very exciting. i finally got my phone unblocked for global roaming and can send text messages whenever i want. what a relief. so. first today i went to Westminster to see the building of the Parliament with the tower and Big Ben. it looks quite amazing from a short distance. then i took a flight on the London Eye (a huge observation wheel) which gave me the opportunity to take a LOT of photos with my trusty old digital camera (and some with my mobile too). the view is beautiful - you can see a good part of London from there, especially when you're on the top. after that auntie and i had some ciabattas and waffles for lunch (the coffee was awful - don't they have any real coffee machines in England?) and then went to see the Tower of London (only from the outside) and the Tower Bridge, both very old and very beautiful. naturally, more photos followed. finally we decided to return to Oxford and Regent St to do some more shopping. i especially wanted to go back to that toy shop where i went yesterday, and so i did - hence the sonic screwdriver xP i took some more photos and a ride on the top deck of a red bus, also seeing some very nice and very expensive shops in a huge department store. by then i was out of money so i had to do with just looking at all those pretty shoes, dresses and accessories. still, i doubt i could ever bring myself (even if i DID have the money) to spend 85 pounds on a pair of ordinary looking purple flats, no matter what brand they were. honestly. i can get something like that in shoe show for 20 bucks. it's ridiculous.
but off the topic of shoes now.
after the shops there was nothing much to do anymore. besides, we were tired, it was dark (it gets dark really early) and bloody cold (surprise, surprise). therefore, we caught an underground train (is that what you call it?) and then an overground train (you probably don't call it THAT though) and went home. i'm a bit worried about the weight of all those things i bought - i can only take 20 kilograms on the plane that i'm catching tomorrow. i'll have to think of some solution to that. i better go and pack. i can't wait to get to Poland! i'm really excited :D mmm..cheap clothes..shopping..snow..food...
